CONDITIONS OF THE SIGMA SOFTWARE END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
IMPORTANT. Please read carefully.
This End user license agreement is a legal agreement between you (either individual or entity) and ITA from the Universitat Politècnica de València (hereinafter ITA-UPV) concerning the SIGMA software, including software and related information in printed or electronic materials, and may include documentation “Online” or electronic. By installing, copying or doing other use of SIGMA you agree to be bound by the terms of this License Agreement. If you do not agree with the terms of this License Agreement, do not install, copy or use this software.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Intel ® Core Duo or higher or AMD equivalent processor
* 2 GB RAM
* Resolution 1280x1024, 32 bit colour density (recommended)
* 100 MB free disk space
* Microsoft Windows 7, 8 or 10
* Microsoft® Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher
* Internet connection. Fast connection recommended (1)
* Adobe® Reader or compatible
* .NET Framework 3.5 and .NET Framework 4.0

(1) This software requires Internet connection. The first time you run SIGMA, the software will need to be registered. You cannot use SIGMA without registering it. To do this you need an Internet connection and enter your personal details (including your email) to receive the registration code for your copy of SIGMA from our servers.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SIGMA is protected by copyright laws and the arrangements of the international treaties on intellectual property. SIGMA software is granted under license, not sold.
This Software license is understood in the sense of art. 92, paragraph 2 of the Law of Intellectual Property, as license for personal use, nonexclusive and non-transferable.
1. LICENSE GRANT
You can install SIGMA software on as many computers as you wish. The only requirement is that you must register SIGMA in each of these computers. To do this, and unless specifically otherwise indicated, the user will require an Internet connection. Under no circumstances the ITA-UPV will be responsible for that connection.
2. COPYRIGHT
All title and copyrights in SIGMA (including, without limitation, images, photographs, animated figures, video, audio, music, text and applets incorporated into SIGMA) and accompanying printed materials are owned by the ITA-UPV. You cannot copy the printed materials, if any, accompanying this product.
3. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS
*The license grants you limited rights of use of the software. ITA-UPV. The ITA-UPV retains all rights, title properties and interests, including intellectual property rights (copyright) concerning the software and any copies of it. ITA-UPV reserves all rights not explicitly granted.
*It is forbidden for the user, in such a way but not limited, to create derivative works, realise reverse engineering, decompile, disassemble, modify, version, realise marketing, duplicate or convert partly or entirety the Software, or remove any proprietary notices or program labels without prior and express written authorization from ITA-UPV, even though some of these actions were necessary for interoperability with other programs or independent web applications.
*Rental. It is forbidden to sell, rent, lease or lend SIGMA.
*Resolution. Without prejudice to any other rights, ITA-UPV can resolve or terminate this License Agreement in case of breach of the terms and conditions set forth therein. In this case, you must destroy all copies of SIGMA and all its component parts.
* In any case, ITA-UPV can revoke this license, temporarily or permanently, at any time and for any reason.
4. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SELECTION BY THE USER
The user is responsible for the selection of the program that allows to obtain the desired results, as well as its installation and effectiveness. In this sense, the authors do not guarantee that the program meets the needs of the user.
5. GUARANTEE
The ITA-UPV SIGMA disclaims any warranty to the extent permitted by the law applicable. This software and its related documentation are provided as such without warranty of any kind, either explicit or implicit, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You assume the entire risk arising from the use or operation of this software product.
6. RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES
Under no circumstances will the ITA-UPV be liable to the user or third parties for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, cessation of business, loss of business information or other pecuniary loss) arising from the use of the program, or inability to do so, even if the ITA-UPV has been advised of the possibility of such damages, to the extent permitted by the law applicable.
The ITA-UPV assumes no responsibility in the case of software modified in any way or if the failure is derived from the use of the software with a different hardware configuration than the recommended.
